Ad banner across top of screen?

I have this app on my two other devices (iPod touch & iPad mini) with no ad banner (5 star rating for clear day on them). However, I just got a new iPad Pro and downloaded this app from the cloud, only to see an ugly ad banner across the top of the screen! It really looks tacky on what is normally a beautiful animated picturesque scene. WHY? How is it fine on my other devices, but is ruined with an ad on my new iPad Pro and how can it be removed? Someone help, please!!
